The Haunted Circuit House – Part 2: The Woman Under the Bed and the Hidden Secret

In Part 1, Deepti Ranjan Pradhan had already witnessed several unexplained incidents at the government Circuit House frequent power cuts, the mysterious woman in the purple saree, and strange sounds coming from an abandoned bungalow. But those incidents were only the beginning. What happened next was beyond imagination.

The Woman Appeared Again

That night, around 1:30 a.m., Deepti woke up to use the bathroom.

After returning, curiosity once again drew him toward the window overlooking the abandoned bungalow.

Outside, the entire area was covered in darkness, with only faint moonlight illuminating the surroundings.

As his eyes adjusted, he noticed someone sitting quietly in the bungalow’s veranda.

To make sure he wasn’t imagining things, he picked up a flashlight and pointed it toward the figure.

The beam revealed the same woman he had seen earlier that morning.

She was wearing the same purple saree.

Without wasting a second, Deepti rushed outside hoping to confront her.

But by the time he reached the bungalow…

There was no one.

The place was completely deserted.

A chill ran down his spine.

He somehow managed to get through the rest of the night. https://www.indiatvnews.com/news/india/myth-or-mystery-haunted-circuit-houses-in-india-36576.html

His Family Arrives

The next morning happened to be Sunday.

Deepti’s wife and six year-old son arrived from Bhubaneswar to spend a few days with him.

However, they immediately disliked the small room allotted to him.

There wasn’t enough space for three people.

The helper suggested something unexpected.

There was another bungalow inside the Circuit House premises that had been lying vacant.

It was much larger and had all the necessary facilities.

Although Deepti felt uncomfortable because of everything he had experienced, he agreed.

Within an hour, the helper cleaned the bungalow, shifted their belongings inside, and prepared it for the family.

Ironically…

It was the same bungalow where Deepti had repeatedly seen the mysterious woman.

Something Climbed Onto the Bed

That night, after dinner, Deepti slept in one room while his wife and son rested in another.

Around midnight, Deepti suddenly felt as if someone had climbed onto his bed and was lying behind him.

Startled, he immediately turned around.

No one was there.

The room was silent.

Assuming it was his imagination, he closed his eyes again.

Just a few moments later…

A photo frame hanging on the wall suddenly crashed onto the floor.

The loud sound echoed through the room.

As Deepti bent down to pick it up, an icy cold breeze brushed across his body.

He quietly placed the frame back on the table and returned to bed, but sleep was now impossible.https://unbiasedpollkhol.com/

The Most Horrifying Sight

After lying awake for nearly an hour, Deepti again felt someone’s presence behind him.

This time, another sound caught his attention.

It was coming from beneath the bed.

A scratching noise.

Slow…

Steady…

And getting louder.

Gathering every bit of courage he had left, Deepti grabbed his flashlight and slowly pointed it underneath the bed.

What he saw froze him with terror.

A woman was lying beneath the bed.

Her face was covered in blood.

She wore the same purple saree.

She smiled at him with an unsettling expression.

Resting on her chest was the body of a ten-month-old baby whose lower half appeared to have been severed.

The woman clutched the child tightly while staring directly into Deepti’s eyes.

Unable to control himself, Deepti screamed and ran out of the room.

His wife rushed in.

After hearing everything, she tried to calm him down.

She believed stress and exhaustion had caused him to hallucinate.

That night, all three of them slept together in one room.

Even His Wife Heard the Sounds

The next afternoon, while Deepti was at work, his wife called him in panic.

She told him she could hear loud chopping noises coming from the dining area of the bungalow.

The sound resembled someone repeatedly cutting wood with a heavy machine.

Deepti immediately asked the helper to stay with his wife until he returned.

When he came back that evening, his wife firmly refused to stay there any longer.

Since arranging another place at such short notice wasn’t possible, Deepti decided to send his wife and son back to Bhubaneswar that very night.

After seeing them safely onto the train, he returned to the bungalow.

Little did he know…

The biggest secret of the Circuit House was still waiting beneath his feet.

The Hidden Door Beneath the Bed

Late that night, Deepti and the helper were having dinner when the familiar cutter sound returned.

This time it was louder than ever.

The noise clearly seemed to be coming from beneath the same bedroom.

Unable to ignore it any longer, Deepti moved the bed aside.

To his surprise…

There was a small wooden trapdoor hidden underneath.

It was locked.

Suddenly, he remembered the old key he had found outside his room several days earlier.

With trembling hands, he inserted the key.

It fit perfectly.

The lock opened.

As the wooden door creaked open, a staircase leading underground appeared before them.

Holding his flashlight tightly, Deepti slowly descended into the darkness.

A Discovery That Changed Everything

The underground room looked like an abandoned storage area.

Broken furniture…

Old televisions…

Dust-covered household items…

Everything had been left untouched for years.

As Deepti walked deeper inside, his flashlight suddenly illuminated something that made him stop.

Two skeletons.

One belonged to an adult.

The other was much smaller.

It was the skeleton of a child.

Nearby hung an old photograph of a woman holding a little child.

Deepti immediately rushed back upstairs and locked the hidden room.

He informed senior officials the very next day, and an official investigation was initiated.

But one question still remained unanswered.

Who were the woman and the child?

The answer would reveal a horrifying crime buried beneath the Circuit House for years.
