(A True Paranormal Crime Story)
There are two kinds of people in this world.
Those who believe ghosts don’t exist…
and those who have seen them.
Because sometimes, what we call imagination…
is actually someone else’s unfinished story.
Swaraj was a truck driver, living a simple life with his parents and younger sister in Ichhapuram, a small town in Andhra Pradesh. Their life wasn’t perfect, but it was peaceful until one night destroyed everything. https://unbiasedpollkhol.com/
On November 12, 2021, his parents were returning from a wedding on their motorcycle when a speeding bus hit them. They died on the spot. Just like that, Swaraj and his sister were left alone in the world.
The house they lived in started feeling empty, suffocating. So their relatives decided to bring them to Sambalpur in Odisha, where their uncle lived. Swaraj left his old job behind and began searching for work again, because now he wasn’t just a son he was responsible for his sister’s entire future.
After weeks of struggle, he finally got a job as a truck driver in a company called Sudhakar Pipes. His supervisor, Dinesh, handled everything over phone calls. They had never met in person, but the job was steady, and Swaraj slowly began to rebuild his life.
Almost a year passed.
Then came a night in December.
It was around 11:30 PM when Swaraj’s phone rang. It was Dinesh. There was an urgent delivery that had to be made immediately to Bhubaneswar. Half asleep but used to such calls, Swaraj got ready and reached the company compound by around 1:15 AM.
His truck was already loaded.
he started the engine and drove out, he noticed something unusual an old truck parked in one corner of the compound. It looked abandoned, covered in dust, like it hadn’t been used in years. For a moment, he wondered about it… but then ignored the thought and drove off.
About 50 kilometers into the journey, Swaraj stopped at a petrol pump to refuel. After filling diesel, he stepped out to wash his face. That’s when he saw it again.

The same truck.
Parked quietly at the corner of the petrol pump.
A strange uneasiness crept into his chest. How could that truck reach here before him? He hadn’t even seen anyone driving it. Trying to calm himself, he splashed cold water on his face, convincing himself it was just fatigue.
He got back into his truck and drove towards the highway again.
As he adjusted his mirror, his eyes caught something behind him.
The truck.
Still there.
Under the dim yellow light, something was written on its back
“There are more betrayers than lovers.”
Swaraj’s grip tightened on the steering wheel.
Because that exact same line… was written on his own truck.
His breathing became heavy. He leaned slightly to look again
And this time, what he saw made his blood run cold.
In the mirror… there was a severed head.
Tilted slightly.
Smiling at him.
For a second, Swaraj couldn’t move. Sweat dripped down his face despite the freezing December night. Panic took over, and he pressed harder on the accelerator, trying to escape whatever was following him.
But fear doesn’t let you escape so easily. It follows.
After some distance, unable to handle the pressure, Swaraj stopped the truck on a deserted road. It was around 2 AM. There was nothing around him no houses, no lights, no sound.
Just silence.
He stepped out to check the truck, trying to convince himself that everything was normal. When he walked to the back and saw the same line written there, his heart started pounding again.
As he turned to walk back, he suddenly felt it
Someone standing right behind him.
He froze.
Slowly, he turned around.
No one.
He exhaled, trying to calm himself, and took another step
And suddenly
A heavy blow struck his head.
Everything went dark.
When Swaraj opened his eyes, he was lying in a hospital bed. A man had found him unconscious on the roadside and brought him there.
After hearing everything, the doctor said something unexpected.
“The truck you are driving… belonged to Dinesh.”

Swaraj was confused. His supervisor?
The doctor explained that 15 years ago, Dinesh was not a supervisor he was a truck driver.
One day, Dinesh returned home unexpectedly and found his wife with another man. In a fit of rage, he killed the man instantly.
But the story didn’t end there.
Dinesh’s wife loved that man deeply. Consumed by revenge, she poisoned Dinesh, killed him, cut his body into pieces, and disposed of them in different places to hide the evidence. Later, unable to bear the guilt, she set herself on fire and died.
Three lives ended in violence.
Three souls left behind.
The doctor looked at Swaraj and said quietly,
“Since then… people say that Dinesh’s soul still wanders that highway.”
Suddenly, everything made sense the truck, the message, the face in the mirror.
It wasn’t random.
It was a message.
Dinesh wasn’t trying to harm Swaraj.
He was trying to reach him.
Swaraj decided to do something about it. He visited Dinesh’s old house, performed prayers and rituals for his soul, hoping to bring him peace.
For a few days, everything became normal again.
But one morning, as Swaraj walked towards his truck, his body froze.
The same truck was there again.
And this time, someone was sitting inside.
Looking straight at him.
Smiling.
But it wasn’t Dinesh.
It was the man he had killed.
Aman.
Now Swaraj understood this wasn’t over yet.
Terrified, he went to a temple in Odisha and met a tantric. After listening to everything, the man said something chilling
“Dinesh chose you. You are the medium.”
He gave Swaraj an amulet and told him to tie it under the steering of the truck.
Swaraj followed his instructions exactly.
And after that day
Everything stopped.
No strange truck.
No mirror reflections.
No presence.
Just silence.
I almost got a heart attack at him seeing a head in mirror….phew
