RML Hospital treated around 100 injured people in its emergency department on the day of the major clashes. Of these, around 90 were protesters and 10 were police personnel. A later update reported that around 180 injured people had been brought to RML Hospital’s emergency department, including 89 police personnel. Of these, 96 patients required surgical treatment such as stitches or plaster casts. Another report quoting hospital sources stated that 90 students were injured during the protests in Delhi, with 79 discharged after treatment by the following morning, while one critically injured woman remained in the ICU on ventilator support.
